About Us
History
North
Quincy Community Theatre (formerly North Quincy Alumni Theatre, NQAT)
began in 1987 when a group of North Quincy High School Alumni decided
they would like to work in theatre together. Seven years later, NQAT opened its membership to the general public and extended its season to include three productions a year. In
July of 2006, the group changed its name to North Quincy Community
Theatre.
Mission Statement
To
offer quality theatrical productions to the community, and to provide
North Quincy High School students with the annual Gregory P. Toland
Memorial Scholarship in fond memory of a founding member of NQAT.
Performance Space
The
Black Box is an intimate space that seats 60 people with tiered
seating. The front row is only a few feet from the stage and on the
same level, so the audience is right in the midst of every performance.
